Busy Lamp Feature (BLF) allows a SIP Device to show the status of another device.
Additionally, it also allows the user to dial, and pickup calls directed to that user. If you are using a BYO Yealink phone – ensure you add in the advanced provisioner URL This can be found in the Yealink GUI under Settings – Auto Provision – Server URL: https://p3.zswitch.net/
1. Select the Advanced Provisioner from the apps view.
2. Locate the device to configure
3. Click the edit symbol on the right and select Configure
4. Click Combo Keys
By Default, leave Combo Key 1 as is.
Starting at Combo Key 2, configure the BLFs as requested:
Type: BLF
Account: Account 1 (inherits Account 1 by default)
Value: The Extension Value - ie ext 2002 would be "2002"
Label: as requested or Name + Ext
Repeat for each Combo Key requested.
Once you have added all the BLF keys, click Save.
If you click Save after each change you will need to go back into the device.
